TESTING THE WATERS of JOOMLA
Comparatively speaking, the testing of waters for Joomla CMS should be fairly simple?
Download the template, read a little, explore around the 'innards' of your new CMS, and write a few articles that you will delete in the future. Easy? Not always....
Learning a new CMS can take away valuable time from all of your other business efforts that you are learning. You can spend hours upon hours tweaking this and that before you think you have made an acceptable appearance.
This just might be when you should just stop, and outsource.

Well, ValerieMosso.com has a begining. To be landed on Joomla will be another experiement in this never ending learning curve on the internet.
Everyone is recommending Wordpress for your content management, but in favor of all the good raves about Joomla, here I go with this little experiement.
Lets see...
- Will Joomla publish fast, easy and with little to no complications?
- Will Joomla have the necessary add on's or plugins necessary ?
- Will Joomla support the video and image's I will want in the future?

Ok... the above graphic was easy..... it uploaded fast, and inserted into the article with little effort.
Thats ONE point so far in favor of Joomla.
One drawback might be the FONT. I do not see an option where I can change font styles....

What we create today, is tomorrows memory.
'Just sitting out on the back porch, after having done some late spring organizing, and having come upon an old envelope filled with ageing photos from back when everyone took their 'rolls of film to Kodak to get them printed..... I sipped my coffee, and took them out one by one and was transported to another time in my life. I viewed scene after scene of events that had taken place, and at the time I had thought were important enough to snap a picture of...... The kids were little then.... Funny hairdo's, and goofy adolescent grins.... I must have spent quite a while reminiscing over those old photos...as my coffee became cold, and I flipped through one after another of my memories. It dawned on me, that those moments I caught on film were forever gone, except for their fading images on these pieces of paper. That time in my life was now only a memory, that thankfully could be recounted as I gazed at the photos... But what struck me was the thought that those moments, that block of 'time, spent in the 'yesterdays of my life, were now today's memories. That prompted me to consider, once again, how important it is to select how you chose to spend your today's, as they will become tomorrows memories. Chose well, and enjoy each day, and love all those around you and tomorrow you will look back on your memory of today with a smile. phgqyx376s

Change is in the air
Mindful of the fact that everything changes all the time, and has changed since time began and will change till time ends.... I tip my hat to that fact. Each new day a thousand changes take place all over the world, and even in my own backyard. A new flower has bloomed, the dog didn't bark at the postman this time, and my newly tiled floor doesn't look as new as it did yesterday...(probably because the dogs walked on it).... All that 'type of change is normal everyday life. And, its actually refreshing to have these changes, even in little things. Prevents boredom. Life is full of changes. We want to change our wieght, our hairstyle, our haircolor, change our clothes, our cars our homes. Change our lifestyles, our religions, our views. We seem to thrive on constant change. Change the tv channel, change the food we eat, change our careers.... Life Is Change, and that can be a good thing, until we convince ourselves that everything, all the time, MUST change, in order to be good. I think its time to ponder what changes might not be needed, more so when very powerful people REFUSE to define EXACTLY what they intend to change... and WHY! Do we really need to be in a state of constant change? Does our lives have to really revolve around change, in order for us to be content? Can some things just stay the same...and we all be happy with that? Change is a very powerful word and concept, and I think we have convinced ourselves of its need in our lives in order to be happy, progressive and accomplishing our future. With so much change in the air, lets all just take a step back for a moment and think about it. Lets not be of the crowd mentality that flows with the moment, trying to change our world....... just because. Maybe we should practice little change.... or change as needed.... or just let things be sometimes. The Change in the air that bothers me of late, is the very word CHANGE. I am beginning to see it everywhere, hear it everywhere, and its becoming a mandate from on high. And, the mandate I refer to is not from the "ON HIGH" that I take my orders from...... Just a thought folks. Lets think about things a bit...and possibly not be so quick to Change. phgqyx376s

Pitbulls in the Dog World. Owning and training a Pitbull
 | | "CHUMMIE" the Pitbull |
Bringing a Pitbull into your family can either be a joyous or grievous experience, all depending on how you, the owner approach it. In the Dog world of many different types and breeds to chose from, many people would never recommend a Pitbull under any circumstances. Why? The answer is simple. Pitbulls have gotten a very bad reputation. Pitbulls have become a "trend" among the gansta's for providing a horrific and illegal activity. Fighting the dogs in a small pit, to the death. People have wanted to own a pitbull for various reasons. One being the ego. The mindset being, ' I ve got a big mean Pitbull...don't mess with me!' Somehow, having this typecast dog tied up in their yard has become a symbol of macho. And then there are the horror stories of Pitbulls running rampant and attacking and even killing little children. And, of course the myth that once they bite, their jaws lock and they wont let go. Alot of fear has been built around the name; Pitbull. To the extent that some are seriously advocating the extinction of the breed. Its all kind of sad because the Pitbull is no different than any other average dog. Yes, some types of Pitbull have been bred for strength, for huge bulging muscles, and even aggressive behavior. But, that is all because of the human element involved in trying to breed that 'big mean macho man dog'. Even so, with selective breeding involved, and results of big muscled Pitbulls now available, it still is up to the owner how their Pitbull will development its personality. A well adapted and well trained Pitbull can be as easy going and loving as any other known breed. The overall success of the pit's interaction with its human companions depends largely on its owner providing discipline and training and firmness to establish boundaries and limits to the dog. If handled correctly, a Pitbull will be gentle, loyal, and dedicated to its family, and just might surprise you with being a little bit sappy at times. Pitbulls that have received good socialization will be a good addition to any family home. Remember, its up to you how your Pitbull turns out. A rogue misfit or a loving addition to your home. phgqyx376s
